Miao Yin
Biography
Dr. Miao Yin is a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). He received his Ph.D. at Rutgers University, during which he conducted research at Google with Dr. Boqing Gong, building the efficient YouTube video quality assessment framework.
Dr. Miao Yin’s research is mainly focused on artificial intelligence (AI), particularly high-performance and energy-efficient spatial intelligence systems. His research interests broadly include:

- Efficient AI/ML/Vision Systems
- Model Optimization for LLMs
- AI for Scientific Computing
- Higher-Order Tensor Decomposition
